Toothache is probably one of the most intensive kinds of pain that can affect you. It can also be a dangerous kind because it is linked with parts of the head and near to the brain. There are more reasons that can cause toothache as caries, tooth decay, broken tooth, damaged filling, aggressive rubbing, gum inflammation, growing. These conditions can all be followed with intense pain or uncomforting that can last for few days.

If the tooth problem is not that serious and it is only causing pain you can try solving the problem at home using all natural remedies to treat this condition.

Cloves and coconut oil
Mix a teaspoon of coconut oil and 3 drops of cloves essential oil. Apply the mixture on the painful spot and leave it on for few minutes. Remove the mixture when the pain reduces, and be careful not to swallow it. This mixture has anesthetic and antiseptic properties that can reduce pain and kill the bacterium that is causing it. Ginger and chili
Mix small amounts of chili and ginger to make a paste. Use small piece of cotton to apply it on painful tooth. This mixture can be efficient against bleeding, swelling and infection and also improve the general condition of your oral cavity.

Coconut oil and turmeric
Mix equal amounts of coconut oil and turmeric powder. Add few drops of mint essential oil. Mix it all in thick paste. Use this as a tooth paste every day. Apply with a brush and leave on for 5 minutes. Wash off afterwards. The paste has strong antibacterial and antiviral properties and will help with redness and irritations.

Garlic

Crash garlic clove and leave it for 15 minutes so that the active ingredients can be activated. Then mix it with salt smashing it in a mash. Apply on the painful tooth. Repeat 3 times a day.

Water and salt
Mix a tablespoon of salt with a glass of boiled water. Rinse your mouth with the mixture to keep your mouth healthy and bacteria free.

Acupressure
Use your thumb to press on the painful spot and hold that way for 2 minutes.

Ice
Ice will relieve pain in your teeth very fast. Just apply it from the inside or from the outside and you will feel temporary relief in a short time.

Essential oils
There are some kinds of essential oils that can effectively relieve toothache just by applying them on the painful spot. Some of the most effective to deal with this issue is cinnamon, mint, clove and tea tree essential oils.
