But all of that are fighting with overweight all your life have to admit that it is so hard to try to stay away from those unhealthy bites like pizza, burger, fries, sandwiches, donuts…. We are all craving for them and some of us can’t resist the temptation and cut the diet just because of this group of food. But you don’t have to worry about it anymore. Group of scientists got interested in organizing research about this thematic, they arranged everything and started the study.

There were two groups of people included; the thing they got in common was the weekly calorie intake of 10500 calories. One group was determined to healthy diet nutrition, rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, without processed food and refined sugar. Every one ate healthy. The other group was allowed to “take a break” from the healthy nutrition and eat whatever they want but just one day in a week.

At the end of the test period the results were amazing. People from both groups lost almost the same amount of kilograms, and the group that was allowed to “cheat” one day in a week was more motivated to keep with the diet and the goal to lose more kilograms. So the “cheat” day when you are allowed to eat a pizza or ice cream or any other kind of food that is not healthy is kind of a motivation to keep you going with the different or the healthy nutrition that you chose to follow.

So this is true after all. And if you are seriously thinking about going on a diet, pick a day in a week when you will be able to eat the food that usually is forbidden and doesn’t count as healthy. But don’t forget to stick to the amount of calories that is the limit, and don’t overeat. If you stuff yourself up with junk food during the “cheat” day, there won’t be any results. You will just end up adding more extra pounds and maybe cause digestion problems like bloating. Eat a slice of pizza or a scoop of ice cream just to keep you motivated and help you get to your final goal: losing extra weight.
