Modern and stressful life is changing the habits of people and some of the things you do every day have huge impact on male fertility and sperm count.  But did you ever think about that some of your habits and thinks you are repeatedly doing every day may be the cause of your infertility and low sperm count.

Too much alcohol
Glass of wine or a beer every now and then will not cause any kind of danger, but big amounts of alcohol lower the levels of testosterone and the number of healthy spermatozoids. Man that drink 20-25 drinks a week experience lower sperm quality and those that go over 40 drinks have lower number of spermatozoids and low sperm quality.  So if you are trying to have a baby, stay away from alcohol, it is a poison for the reproductive organs.

Too little fish
According to a research man that eats good amounts of fish that contains omega 3 fatty acids have sperm count that is higher than the average. If you are trying to conceive replace all the processed meat, hot dogs and bacon with fish. Processed meat can lower the sperm count and deform the spermatozoids.  Put sea fish on your menu 3-4 times a week.

Too much carbonated drinks
Carbonated drinks are full of sugar and excess use can create insulin resistance. This condition when the body can’t use the sugar can lead to inflammations that reduce the mobility of sperms. They also cause weight gain and when you are overweight your body produces more estrogen and less testosterone which affects the sperm count.

Too little sleep

Man that sleep less than 6 hours lower the sperm count, because lack of sleep causes lower production of testosterone and with that lower sperm quality. But this also happens if you sleep more than 9 hours. If you are trying to conceive, 6-7 hours is the healthier amount of sleep your body needs.

Hot baths
It may be relaxing to the body but it is killing the sperms. When the temperature of the testicles rises it may damage the sperms and lowers quality and count.

Lubricants
They lower the mobility of the sperms and their capability to fertilize the egg. They act more like contraception because they contain acid that destroys spermatozoids. Don’t use lubricants if you want a baby.

Telephone in the pants pocket
Smart phones cause radiation that can cause damage of the sperm. It also radiates heat that can increase the temperature and lower the production of the spermatozoids. Therefore keep the smart phone away from your pants pocket if you want healthy and productive sperm.

Laptop in your lap
Almost every other man keeps the laptop in the lap. This is a dangerous habit because it can raise the temperature of testicles and lower the production of sperm. Keep the lap top away from your lap or use a protection pad if you still decide to keep on with this habit.

Stress
Stress has a huge impact on reproduction organs and hormones. Stress can significantly lower the sperm count and the quality of sperms. If you want to conceive find effective mechanism to overcome stress the healthy way.
