Even healthy ingredients can become harmful to your health and cause tiredness, sluggishness, stomach problems and weight gain. That is the main reason you need to combine the ingredients you eat together by the time your body needs to digest them.
Fruits usually take 30-60 minutes to be digested, cereal, vegetables and beans take an hour, meat and fish take 3-4 while shells may need up to 8 hours to be digested. If there are five different ingredients in our stomach there are five different processes of digestion with different enzymes. In this “rush” the ingredients that are digested fast need to wait for those that are digested slowly. While the food waits for its turn, it dissolves and ferments, causing gas and acid. Constant bad food combinations may lead to chronic digestion problems, inflammations, bad breath, insomnia, dry skin, rash, lack of energy. Different kinds of food need different digestion time based on their composition. It is important to learn to combine the food the right way in order to avoid digestion problems.
BAD FOOD COMBINATIONS YOU SHOULD NEVER EAT TOGETHER
Salad with low fat dressing
Low fat dressings that are often full with sugar prevent the absorption of nutrients and vitamins from the vegetables. Vitamins A and K need fats to be absorbed. To use the best of the salad dress with olive oil and add some apple cider or maybe balsamic vinegar.
Bananas and milk
Burger and fries
This combination of fried fat and carbohydrates can create cytokines, which ruin healthy cells. it can also cause metabolite syndrome and speed up the process of aging. Vegetable burger is a healthier choice.
Sea food with dairy products
Don’t ever eat smoked salmon sandwich with cheese, don’t eat yogurt with sea food pizza, and don’t mix sea food and pasta with sour cream sauce. It is bad.
White bread and jam
It is a breakfast full of sugar without protein with a little fats and it is a trigger to overeating during the day. Replace white with whole grain bread and jam with peanut butter. It will give you breakfast full of fiber, protein and fats.
