300 ml of kefir or a low fat yogurt
2 tablespoons of oats

How to prepare
It needs to be prepared one day ahead. Before you go to sleep, make yourself tasty breakfast for the next day. Soak the plums in 100 ml of boiled water and leave for 10 minutes covered. Put the oats and the flaxseeds in a bowl and pour the kefir over. Mix it all well. Chop the plums or blend them and add them in the bowl. Cover and put the bowl in the fridge.

How to make homemade kefir
To prepare kefir in your own home you need milk and kefir “grains” that is a yeast fermentation starter. You can use any kind of milk cow, sheep, goat, it can be boiled or fresh, but it is important not to be hot. You need a 500 ml of milk and a tablespoon of kefir grains. Put it them in a glass jar, mix a little using wooden or plastic spoon and leave it on room temperature with slightly open lid. It needs to stay for at least 24 hours.  Then mix it slightly and strain through a plastic strainer. The resulting liquid should be left for another 48 hours on room temperature. This is when the process of creating vitamins, especially B and folic acid starts. The grains that are left in the strainer should be washed and they are ready for another round. When they multiply, you need to remove the excess and give it to someone that needs it. You can also make larger amounts of kefir. The ratio is tablespoon of grains and half liter of milk. Never allow metal things to get in touch with kefir.
