Tea for cough
Chop 3 bay leaves and put them in 250 ml of water and cook it for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cover for another ten minutes. Then strain and add tablespoon of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of natural honey. Drink this tea 3 times a day but no more than 300 ml in one dose.

This tea can help you boost the immunity and it is very effective for bronchitis and breathing problems.

Cough syrup
Put ½ liter of water and 150 grams of sugar in a pot and add 10 bay leaves. Cook it for 30 minutes and then remove the leaves and transfer the liquid in a glass container. You can use the syrup whenever necessary.

Another cough syrup
This syrup has very pleasant and mild taste which is not the case with cough syrups, and it is very effective. You need 250 ml of water and 6 bay leaves. Put in a pot and boil for 6-10 minutes. When ready remove the leaves and transfer the liquid in a glass container. Add 6 tablespoons of brown sugar and a juice of one lemon mix it all and allow the sugar to dissolve. You can drink it all at once but 2-3 teaspoons a day is quite enough to help you with symptoms of cold. You can also chew a slice of lemon after this syrup and the combination will help you with dry and irritant cough.

Bay leaves drink to remove salt from the organism
This is also another effective natural treatment that can help remove excess salt from the organism and that way prevent joint pain. You need to put a tablespoon of chopped bay leaves in 300 ml of water and cook for 5 minutes. Then transfer the whole liquid in a thermos and leave it overnight. In the morning strain the liquid and drink similar amounts of it during the day in small sips.  This treatment can cause frequent urination and that is a sign that it works. Repeat the treatment after a week. The first real results will be visible in ten days when you will feel lighter and the joint pain will be gone.

Bay leaf tincture for bunions
Put 5 large bay leaves in 100 ml of medicinal alcohol and let it stay for 10 days. Strain the liquid and pour it in a container. Put your feet in 3 liters of warm water you added a tablespoon of baking soda. Keep your feet in the solution for at least 30 minutes. Then wipe your feet and and apply the tincture on the feet and put on socks and go to sleep.
