People that suffer from headaches probably want to be able to get rid of it natural way. The remedies sometimes don’t work and sometimes we just wish not to use them. POTATOES
For severe headaches, you can use an old-fashioned trick. Cut larger potato in half and rub the forehead and temple area with it. When the potatoes are dry, the headache will go away.

WATER
Drink a large glass of water. Dehydration is one of the most common causes of headache.

APPLE
Eat one whole apple with the peel. It will remove the headache but this cure will work only if you bite the apple and not cut it with a knife.

SOUP
Make a soup and season it with parsley, rosemary, marjoram, put a few cloves and a lot of black pepper. Eat it as warm as you can. This soup is especially good for sinus headaches.

MINT
Massage the forehead and temple area with mint essential oil.

LIME
Cut the lime in half and rub it in the middle of the forehead.

CABBAGE
Take a larger leaf of cabbage and give it a good squeeze and then apply it on the head. Cabbage juice is also good for headaches.

ALMONDS
A handful of almonds, or 10-12 pieces a day, relieves and prevents headaches. You can eat it raw or soak it in a water overnight and then add it to a meal.

GARLIC
Crush few cloves of garlic and put the paste in a handkerchief and rub it on your forehead and temples, so that garlic is pressed against the skin. It usually takes about fifteen minutes to remove the headache.

ST.JOHN’S WORTH
Tea from this herb can be very effective remedy for headaches, especially those caused by stress, anxiety and bad mood. Pour a cup of boiling water over a spoon of St. John’s worth herb. After ten minutes, strain and drink slowly in small sips throughout the day.

WEEKEND HEADACHE

Going to bed and waking up in the morning should be the same time every day. If you sleep less one day and more the other, you can be prone to headaches. It usually happens over the weekends because some people that get up early during work week usually sleep a lot during weekends. That is because this type of headache called weekend headache. To make sure you avoid this kind of headache go to bed and wake up at the same time.
