Early detection of cancer is the most important of all. Detection of lumps that everyone talks about is an indicator that you have a cancer that is in advanced stage. That is the main reason Medical Associations appeal on regular specialist checkups that can detect cancer in early stage.
Some symptoms like changes in the structure of the breast, skin and nipples are visible and can be easily be noticed, but there are signs that are not easy to see.
Itching, redness and pain
if the pain and hypersensitivity of the breast lasts after menstruation and swelling and burning sensation that appear every time you touch the breast may mean that it is a type of cancer known as inflammatory. It is diagnosed in 3% of all cancer cases. The same form of cancer can cause swelling of the chest, itching and pain. The skin may start peel or have blue marks. The skin may look like cellulite, and some women even think it is an allergic reaction. This form of cancer progresses very quickly and blocks the blood vessels that nourish the skin which is causing all those symptoms.
In many cases of cancer, before any other signs, patients feel back pain that is usually between the shoulder blades. This pain is usually related to aching muscles and spine. But in some cases the cancerous tissue that develops deep in the chest causes pain around the spine and ribs. Sometimes the tumor even spreads in these parts of the body.
Pain and hypersensitivity in armpits
Studies show that breast cancer can first spread to the lymph knots of the armpit. That type of swallowing can occur way before the changes on the breast. Please note that any pain in the armpits is serious enough to go to the doctor. The tissue on the armpits can be a hard and compact and you also can feel lumps.
Changes and secretion from the nipple
The tumor usually appears below the nipple. The presence of cancerous cells may cause some changes in the texture, color and form of the nipple. Unusual and unexplained discharge from the nipple can also be an early symptom of breast cancer. it can be blood, milk or clear liquid but it is enough to warn you to immediately contact a doctor and stop the tumor at the beginning.
Changes in the form
Some women notice that one breast has different shape than the other, because the tissue slides in or moves to the other side. It is very important to regularly observe your breasts and carefully look for differences.
