The gel is transparent and gelatinous structure, located in the inner part of the leaf.
Before you start with extraction of the gel, make sure you thoroughly wash your hands to ensure that the gel does not reach any dirt or bacteria. You can also use gloves. You will need a few fresh leaves of aloe vera plant that is over two years old. Then wash the leaves and peel the skin of the leaf with a knife. Below the peel you will see the gel. Carefully squeeze the gel into a bowl. Add a few drops of grapefruit seed extract, Vitamin E oil or any other essential oil to keep the gel preserved as long as possible. Mix all the ingredients and then transfer the gel into clean dark glass jars, seal well and keep in refrigerator.
THE GEL CAN BE USED FOR BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL USE
The gel can be taken orally and it will stimulate digestion, neutralize stomach acid, to normalize pH balance, and can also help with constipation. But you have to be careful because aloe vera gel can be very strong laxative in higher doses, and consult a doctor if you are using it for this cause.
Aloe vera gel has the ability to clean the liver from toxins and help the regeneration of this organ. It is also beneficial with disorders of the bile, cirrhosis as well as acute and chronic hepatitis. The gel can help people with diabetes because it lowers blood sugar levels and reduces sugar fluctuations. It strengthens the heart muscle, lowers blood cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, destroys tumor cells, strengthens the immune system and reduces the side effects of chemotherapy.
