The fruit is full with vitamins and minerals. It contains vitamin C in huge amounts, vitamin B1, B2, niacin, carotene, calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper, sodium, zinc, iron etc. Besides it contains proteins, fiber and carbon hydrates.

Tea from quince fruit helps respiratory problems. This is how to prepare it: wash and clean and slice the fruit in four pieces. Remove the seeds and the hard part around them and then slice the remains in thin parts and put in a liter of water right away so they don’t change the color. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes and then cool down. Filtrate and drink in sips during all day.
This folk medicine is so easy to prepare. Crush five seeds of a quince and pour 100 ml of water over them. When it turns to mucus add 15 grams of fresh plantain juice and 100 grams of sage honey. You take 1 tea spoon before every meal.

Finely chop 1 tea spoon of quince seeds and then crush them in mortar and pour 2 spoons of water over. Mix well and let rest for 10 minutes. Apply on chapped lips or wrinkles.

200 grams of skin keep for 15 days in 300 ml in hard brandy. Filtrate and close well. Apply twice a day on the spots with wrinkles.
