Tea is good for you and your health. This refreshing beverage that is popular worldwide has medicinal effect and therefore it has good influence on organism’s condition and on prevention and healing of many diseases. If you want to chose what tea is good for you, first you have to know how to prepare and drink it.

MINT

Tea is good for the liver function and the stomach. It has sedative effect and it is used in cases of severe migraine. It is good for menstrual pain and improving the appetite. To prepare it pour hot water over mint leaves and let it stay for 10 minutes. Don’t cook it! Drink it very hot especially after a large meal because it improves food digestion. Older people and people who have blood pressure problems should not drink mint tea for a long period.

CHAMOMILE

Tea has analgesic effect. This tea is good for stomach problems and regulates digestion. Positively effects menstrual problems. Preparation: Pour 200 ml of boiling water over 2 full tablespoons of chamomile. Cover and let it stay for 30 minutes. Then drain and drink very hot. Chamomile tea is good for improving the appetite but then you should drink it cold and without sweeteners, half an hour before the meal.

   LINDEN

Helps the immune system. This tea is good for cardio vascular system. Relieves the symptoms of menopause and reduces neurosis and tension. Cleans the blood and kidneys and heals anemia. Preparation: pour 200 ml hot water over tea spoon of linden or a bag of tea and let it stay for 10 minutes. You should drink fresh tea two times a day and it is recommended before sleeping because it has soothing effect.

  NETTLE

Tea is good for bladder, urinary tract and kidneys. It cleans the blood. Nettle tea  is good for anemia. Preparation: pour 200 ml over a full tablespoon of chopped nettle and let it stay for 2 minutes and drink warm.

BALM

(lemon balm) Tea has positive effect on tension, stress and insomnia. It also reduces stomach problems. Preparation: Mix a spoon of mint, chamomile and balm and pour boiling water over. Let it stay for 10 minutes. This mixture tea is good if you feel gassy. Drain and drink. People that use sedatives should talk to the doctor before they drink balm tea. Healthy people and even kids can drink this tea.

HAWTHORN

Tea can be made from dried leaves or dried fruit. It has good effect on the heart and blood pressure. It also helps with neurosis, tension and tiredness. This tea is good for weight loss. A cup of hot water pour over two tea spoons of hawthorn leaves or fruit. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.

SAGE TEA

is good for drinking and for rinsing. It helps with sweating. Sage is antiseptic and sedative, fights bacteria and diabetes. Rinsing your mouth helps gum inflammation. Sage tea is recommended because it gives energy and stops heart diseases. Preparation: Put a tablespoon of sage in 200ml of hot water and let it boil for 3minutes. Then let it stay for 10 minutes. Drink only fresh tea.

Drink your tea in small cups and in small sips, and without sugar. If you use honey don’t put it in a hot tea and use a wooden spoon. Not every tea is good for every disease, talk to a doctor before you decide to start tea therapy.
